Astro AWANI will bring viewers extensive coverage of the voting process and the results of the 13th General Elections (GE13) starting today 7am till early Monday morning.
Astro AWANI General Manager, Rozina Aziz said the 24-hours news channel is going all out to set a new television reporting standard in line with the current technological advances.
She said, “This is Malaysia’s first 24-hour news and information channel is going to set a new standard of convergence in the news dissemination space this year. AWANI will change the way people see election with “Malaysia Memilih” where audience can relate to election programs better as they see “themselves” in the programmes as Awani takes on a more people-centric approach. Our approach to “Malaysia Memilih” is about “participatory democracy”, “bottom up” and “empowerment” of the people.”
