Muhyiddin meets Penang BN leaders

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today met with Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) component party leaders here and is believed to have discussed preparations by the state BN for the 13th general election.
The closed-door meeting with Muhyiddin, who is on a one-day working visit to Penang, lasted more than two hours.
Among the state BN component party leaders who attended the meeting were Penang BN chairman Teng Chang Yeow, State Umno liaison chief Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman, state MCA chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen (also Tourism Minister), and state Gerakan chairman Datuk Teng Hock Nan.
The meeting was followed by another meeting with representatives of the 345 Polling District Centres throughout Penang.
Muhyiddin, who is also BN deputy chairman, took more than one hour to deliver his message to the 1,500 representatives of the Polling District Centres present.
He was scheduled to attend a luncheon with the state BN before proceeding to Universiti Sains Malaysia for a gathering with the Penang professional groups and associations.
