PAS give 3 overlapping seats to PKR

Pas will give its three overlapping seats with Parti Keadilan Rakyat to its fellow Pakatan Rakyat coalition party and has urged its members to support the PKR candidates.

The three seats are Labuan parliamentary seat, Sungai Acheh state assembly (DUN) seat and Panti DUN seat.

“We hope our members will work hard to ensure a win for PKR,” said Pas President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang during a brief press conference held at the party’s headquarter this afternoon.

As for the one overlapping seat for the Kota Damansara DUN seat, Pas will send a representative to provide suggestion and solution with PKR.

The press conference was held after the Pas management committee held a meeting to discuss the overlapping issue.

At the same, Abdul Hadi announced that all Pas candidates contesting as an independent, including incumbents and their supporters, will be fired from the party immediately.

He, however, did not disclose the number of members fired.
