Pas president should expose PKR candidate for alleged drug trafficking

The Terengganu Umno Youth has called on PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to expose those PKR candidates who were allegedly involved in trafficking in psychotropic pills.

Abdul Hadi had made the allegation while speaking at a PAS ceramah in Tebakang Mukim Alor Limbat, Marang yesterday.

State youth chief Saiful Bahri Baharudin said, if the statement was true, Abdul Hadi should provide evidence to back up his claim.

"If it was true that some PKR candidates were linked to drug trafficking, Hadi should make a police report," he told reporters after lodging a police report on the PAS president's statement at the Kuala Terengganu police headquarters.

During a talk in Marang yesterday, Abdul Hadi alleged that PAS had information there were PKR candidates who carried out "illegal drug activities" while others had "communist leanings".
