Selangor MB to be announced in a week

The post of Selangor Menteri Besar will be announced by the Pakatan Rakyat leadership in a week.

Former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the outcome will be decided after the leaders of the opposition parties in the state hold a meeting soon.

“The exco post also will be known in two weeks time,” Khalid, who is also Selangor Pakatan Rakyat Election director, told reporters in Shah Alam.

PR managed to retain Selangor after they won 44 out of 56 state seats.

It also saw the increase of eight state assembly seats compared to only 36 seats that they won during the 2008 Election.
