Three Nibong Tebal explosion suspects remanded for four days
Three men have been remanded for allegedly being involved in an explosion incident at the Barisan Nasional (BN) operation room at Nibong Tebal on Tuesday night.
The order has been issued by Magistrate Siti Salwa Jaafar at Jawi Magistrate Court today.
The trio was brought to the court at 2.45pm and one of them had previous criminal record involving explosive devices.
Suspects aged between 25 and 41 were arrested in three different locations in Georgetown, Bukit Mertajam Seberang Perai Selatan, two days ago.
They can be charged under Section 6 Explosives Act 1957 which carries seven years imprisonment and a fine of not more than RM10,000 or both.
