Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Tian Chua has called 'Papa Gomo's candidacy to run against PKR de-facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Permatang Pauh as "ridiculous and funny."

"There is a confusion here. We do not know who is 'Papa Gomo'. Not only is this 'Papa Gomo' a phantom blogger, phantom voter, and now you have a phantom candidate.

"There is a phenomenon of a phantom trying to challenge Anwar Ibrahim. We have a very ridiculous situation, very funny and somewhat comical, that you have a phantom blogger, who denied his real identity and now making a call that there is a phantom candidate standing against Anwar," said Tian Chua when contacted by AstroAwani.com.

On Monday, Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, the individual identified as Papa Gomo has once again denied having any links with the controversial blogger.

"Papa Gomo is contesting against Anwar Ibrahim. No, no... you have to ask Rafi (Rafi Awang Kechik)," said Wan Muhammad when contacted by AstroAwani.com.

During a press conference held on the same day, Rafi - who is the President of Nadi Rakyat Malaysia - made an announcement on Wan Muhammad’s nomination as an independent candidate who will contest in Permatang Pauh or any seat contested by Anwar Ibrahim.
