Traffic on several major highways has slowed down due to voters returning to their constituencies for the 13th General Election polling day tomorrow.
A PLUS Expressways Bhd spokesman reported that the north-bound volume was building up from Subang to Bukit Lanjan and there was a bumper to bumper crawl at KM394.9 between Tanjung Malim and Behrang due to a minor accident.
There was a slight congestion past the Menora Tunnel heading towards Kuala Kangsar and from Slim River to Sungkai.
In the southern region, traffic was slowing down from Nilai to Seremban and from Senawang to Pedas.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman reported a slow crawl after the Gombak toll plaza heading towards Bukit Tinggi as more city folk head home to cast their votes.
The overall traffic situation was still under control, he said.
