5 things we know so far about 'Justice League'

IN less than 15 months before its release, Warner Bros has recently invited a group of journalists to visit the set of 'Justice League' (yes, that's the official title) and revealed the synopsis for the movie.

The whole world has now been given a glimpse of what to expect in Zack Snyder's upcoming superhero film, which is based on DC Comics superhero and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

According to collider.com, the tone of 'Justice League' would be somewhat lighter compared to Snyder's previous films, 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' and 'Man of Steel'.

The film's timeline would also take place a few months after 'Batman v Superman' (BvS) and producers Deborah Snyder and Charles revealed that it won't be a two-part film as previously rumoured.

Anyway, here are five interesting facts that we know so far about the movie:

1) Batman's Batmobile gets an upgrade

Due to receiving new threats, and probably from the vehicle being easily shaken off by Superman in BvS, Batman upgraded his Batmobile.

2) Superman has longer hair

This goes back to the comics in the 1990s, after Superman was killed by Doomsday, he later resurrected... with enhanced powers and slightly longer hair.

3) The main bad guy is Steppenwolf

Steppenwolf, the uncle of Darkseid has been announced to be the main supervillain, but so far the producers haven't revealed on who will be portraying the character yet.

4) Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg will be there too

In BvS, Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) was seen viewing a file uncovered from Lex Luthor, showing surveillance footage of metahumans -- humans with extraordinary abilities. There, she saw glimpses of future Justice League members namely The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg.

5) They have their own plane

If the Avengers have the Helicarrier, the Justice League will also have their own aircraft, dubbed The Flying Fox. The aircraft is developed by Wayne Technologies and will be used by the Justice League as their plane.

Beside those facts, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg will reprise their roles as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Clark Kent (Superman), Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Lois Lane, Alfred Pennyworth and supervillain Lex Luthor, respectively.

So far, no news on whether other Justice League members like Hawkman, Shazam, Green Lantern or the Martian Manhunter would appear in the movie as well.

Of course, there are quite a number of other 'secrets' revealed by Warner Bros but I guess it's more fun to wait for the movie which is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017.
