Afdlin Shauki wants to do a film in Gaza

Famous actor and comedian Afdlin Shauki wishes to shoot a film in Gaza.
Although he has yet to decide on the storyline, however he admitted of having preliminary discussions with artists and film people in Palestine.
Despite already having such plans, his main focus now is to fight for the Palestinian’s rights through awareness campaigns.
Due to that, Afdlin and his crew in Gaza are actively collecting visuals and materials to be made as a documentary.
"I want to share my and my friends’ experience with all the people who had never been to Gaza. Through this documentary I hope that the audience will gain awareness about the things going on in Palestine," said Afdlin.
Afdlin described the documentary that will appear as an emotional understanding of the cruelty and oppression of the Zionist regime.
Meanwhile, actor Bront Palarae wishes to bring local artistes closer to humanitarian issues in Palestine.
"During this visit, I have to write a note and I will also probably publish a journal. I also had a discussion with Afdlin to make a film similar to the film 'Counter Propaganda’," said Bront.
On the other hand, actor Zain Saidin wishes to champion English education for the Palestinian children.
"My mission here is to see the children in school. God willing, after I came back on the 15th, I will be teaching English to kindergarten children and primary school," said Zain.
The three actors who participated in the emergency aid mission to Gaza with Aqsa Sharif and is scheduled to return to the country on Monday.
