Azmil Mustapha able to breathe without life support machine, says brother

A well-known actor in the 1980s, Mohd Azmil Mustapha, who was admitted to Putrajaya Hospital following complaints of chest pain and difficulty in breathing, on a life support machine to breathe.
His younger brother, Mohd Aziph Mustapha, said the ventilator was removed at about noon and his brother was now breathing on his own.
"I am impressed with his progress. I am grateful to Allah," he said his Facebook posting on Saturday.
However, he said, Mohd Azmil was still not allowed visitors.
He thanked all those who had prayed for his brother's recovery and good health.
Mohd Azmil, who acted in "Ali Setan" and "Mekanik", among the popular movies in the 1980s, was admitted to the hospital on Friday.
