Beyonce scores four Emmy nominations for 'Lemonade'

SUPERSTAR Beyoncé has scored four Emmy nominations for directing the the visual accompaniment to her album "Lemonade", which aired as an hour-long HBO special earlier this year.
"Lemonade", which was released in April and sold over 485,000 copies in its first week of US release, has now earned Beyoncé a nomination for "Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special" alongside co-director Kahlil Joseph, in addition to her sixth consecutive No.1.
The singer also received Emmy nominations in the following categories: "Outstanding Production Design For A Variety, Nonfiction, Event Or Award Special", "Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming", and "Outstanding Variety Special".
Beyoncé will now go up against the likes of comedian Chris Rock and songstress Adele, who are also in competition for an Emmy in the categories of Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Variety Special, respectively (via NME).
