'Bukan Gila' to be staged again at JKKN Perak Oct 13-15

The 'Bukan Gila' play, about a youth thought to be insane by his parents, girlfriend and the community, will be staged again at the Perak Culture and Arts Department auditorium in Ipoh this Friday until Sunday.
Its producer Mohd Yusop Othman said the play, directed by tells the story of a youth, Azmir who is seen as mentally unsound as he often knocks his head against the floor and wall until he injures himself.
He said 'Bukan Gila' which would start at 8.30pm on the three days, with a cast that included well-known film/television actress Khatijah Tan and actor Che Mat Raja Lawak.
The play written by Sharif Shaary tells the story of a youth, Azmir who is seen as mentally unsound as he often knocks his head against the floor and wall until he injures himself.
Treated at a psychiatric ward, he eventually dies. Is he really mentally unsound?
