Ella to launch new album, urges fans to abolish piracy

Ella is urging all her Malaysian fans to help local artists by abolishing piracy.
Ella, popularly known as the 'queen of rock' will launch her new album this September and does not want what has happened to Malaysian group, Wings, to happen to her.
"I deeply sympathise with the plight by Wings recently, and hope fans will understand and help restore their work.
"I pray that this sad and frustrating incident does not happen to me," Ella said during a press conference held in conjunction with her ‘Showcase Ella’ scheduled to be held at the Hard Rock Cafe, Kuala Lumpur on June 22 at 9 pm.
The tickets are sold at RM40 each.
The one-hour show will showcase eight of Ella’s new and old songs.
Ella who has not performed for some time, will perform with a new band, Sparrow King.
Sparrow King an active Indie music band, will perform a couple of songs from their first album 'Jenkudi' and 'Intripetasi' as the show opener for Ella.
"This is my first collaboration with Sparrow King. As an experienced person in the music industry, it is my responsibility to support and assist the new generation," said Ella who has been in the entertainment world for 29 years.
During the same press conference, Sparrow King headed by Faiz said that every 10 percent of their album sale will be donated to the Cancer Foundation Malaysia fund.
"This is what actually attracted me to work with Sparrow King, their commitment to welfare," said Ella who had previously been involved with a number of charitable activities together Welfare Foundation and Malaysian Red Crescent.
Ella will launch her new album produced by Universal Music album which consist of 10 new songs including the single featuring Indonesian artist, Anji.
Meanwhile, Ella is also planning to hold a solo concert and a holiday together with her fans this year.
