The star actress from "The Bling Ring" is being considered by Matthew Vaughn for his next film, Variety reports.
English actress Emma Watson appears to be competing with Bella Heathcote ("Dark Shadows") for the top female role in "The Secret Service." The film will mark Vaughn's return to directing since the success of both "Kick-Ass" (2010) and "X-Men: First Class" (2011).
Like "Kick-Ass," the new film is based on a comic by Mark Millar. A spy thriller, "The Secret Service" depicts a young man headed towards delinquency until his uncle, an elite MI6 agent, brings him back to the right path.
Colin Firth will play the mentor of the main character. Matthew Vaughn is taking a chance on a newcomer, Taron Egerton, in the film's leading role. Michael Caine is also expected to participate in the film, whose production is scheduled to start this autumn
