Putera Hang Nadim today denied rumours on social media which once again claimed that his father, Jins Shamsuddin, had passed away.
Hang Nadim uploaded a recent photo of him and his parents on Facebook and Instagram, proving that the 80-year-old veteran actor is doing well.
"My father is as healthy as any normal 80-year-old can be. He's not diabetic, he's not suffering from high blood pressure, only his memory is somewhat compromised," he told Astro AWANI in a telephone conversation today.
He said this was the third time that rumours of his father's demise had surfaced.
"I don't know how or why this rumour keeps popping up, this is the third time this has happened.
"My parents and I have just returned from a vacation in Korea and everything is fine.
"So, please stop this slander. It's better for everyone to make supplication for his good health instead," Hang Nadim stressed.
Meawhile, seniman president, Zed Zaidi, also denied the claims and slammed rumour mongers for spreading false information.
Jins Shamsuddin, one of the most popular actors during the 60's and 70's, had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2011.
