Robbers stole a Mitsubishi Triton, an antique camera, an iPad, a PlayStation and RM500 from Mamat Khalid's home.
Film director Mohammad Mohd Khalid, also known as Mamat Khalid, lost almost RM100,000 when three men broke into his house and then fled in his four-wheel-drive vehicle yesterday.
His wife, Hasmah Hassan, 50, said she only realised the house was broken into at about 6.30am when she got up to perform her Subuh prayer.
"From the recording of a CCTV, the robbers prised a window to enter the house.
"They fled with a Mitsubishi Triton, an antique camera belonging to Mohammad, an iPad, a PlayStation and RM500, bringing the total losses to about RM100,000," she told reporters when met at the house at Lebuh Hillview, Taman Ipoh Jaya Timur here last night.
She said after entering the house, the robbers took the keys to the gate, the main door of the house and the ignition key of the Mitsubishi Triton, which were in a bowl near the door.
Hasmah, who was at home with son, Mohd Khalid Adam, 19, and daughter, Nurhassanah, 14, said Mamat Khalid was then at a shooting location at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Shah, Tanjung Malim.
She lodged a report on the robbery at the Kampung Rapat police station at about 11am and also handed to the police the footage of the CCTV.
