"Room 104" marks the third series by the Duplass duo for HBO.
HBO has backed writer-director brothers Jay and Mark Duplass again, picking up their new anthology comedy series "Room 104" for a 2017 debut.
The series, set in a single room of an average American hotel, will follow various characters as they pass through it in each episode, with production set to begin later this year in Los Angeles.
"Room 104" marks the third series by the Duplass duo for HBO, following the animated series "Animals", and the recent, ill-fated comedy series "Togetherness", which was cancelled by the network after just two seasons.
This latest collaboration with HBO will be executive-produced by the brothers as well as Xan Aranda, with Sydney Fleischmann lined up to produce (via Deadline).
