According to TMZ, a statement issued by Bobbi Brown’s lawyer confirmed that there is no truth in reports stating that one of the Browns has requested for her life support to be withdrawn on the day her mother died – February 11, 2012.
Last Sunday, TMZ was informed by members of the Brown family that this was certainly the case, after consulting doctors, the life support will be pulled off today as to "bond mother and daughter for eternity."
USA Today reported that in the statement, the lawyer, Christopher Brown, expressed sharp criticism of modern media reporting of sensational celebrity stories and calling out specific publications.
"The false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time," the statement said.
"In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the (British) Daily Mail, citing police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention.
"The desire to be 'first' has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy." said the statement.
Us Weekly magazine has reported as saying, that the Houston family source has also come out and denied the rumour entirely and adds that there is “no truth to it at all”.

The Houston and the Brown family have constantly been in the limelight especially since the passing of Whitney Houston, with a series of rumours related to the family feuds, conflicts and drug addiction.
USA Today also reported that source close to the family have also confirmed that Bobbi Kristina is not ‘brain dead’ and both families are in harmony and are together actively been holding prayers session at the hospital.
21-year-old Bobbi Kristina is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and has been in coma for the past ten days.
She was found unresponsive in her bath tub in her house in Roswell, Georgia with injuries to her face and body.
Us Weekly also reported that the police have launched a criminal investigation, with focus on Nick Gordon who Bobbi Kristina referred to as her husband.
Gordon, who is reported to have performed CPR on her after she was found in the bathtub, has not returned to visit Bobbi.
It was reported, this past weekend by CNN that he is currently being investigated by authorities for unexplained injuries discovered on Bobbi's body.

E! reported, last week, Bobby Brown released a statement saying he is "investigating the events" that led up to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina while clarifying that his daughter was never married to Gordon, despite the fact that they regularly refer to each other as husband and wife.
While police said they had found drugs in the house, it is not clear how Bobbi Kristina came to lose consciousness.
In 2012, the official coroner's report showed that Whitney Houston had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
Could this possibly be another similar tragedy for the Browns and Houstons' ? Only God knows.
