FILM composer Michael Giacchino, the man behind the music of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," is set to score the highly anticipated "Spider-Man: Homecoming" reports Entertainment Weekly.
Rumors that Giacchino would score the Marvel movie first sparked earlier this week according to EW, after a Reddit user posted on the site that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige let the news slip during a "Doctor Strange" screening and Q&A event.
Giacchino then confirmed that "The rumors are true..." on his Twitter account on Sunday.
The composer's work can also currently be heard on Marvel's latest movie "Doctor Strange." Giacchino is also known for his work on "Zootopia," "Inside Out," "Tomorrowland," "Jurassic World" and "Star Trek Beyond."
"Spider-Man: Homecoming," is directed by Jon Watts and features Tom Holland as the film's hero Peter Parker. Marisa Tomei is set to play Parker's as Aunt May with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, and Jon Favreau will also star in the film.
