‘Skyfall’ is the smash hit single for the James Bond film of the same title made popular by Adele. But now, it’s a seven-man choir from the Russian Army that’s stealing the spotlight from the Brit.
The two countries may be nemesis in the past, but that doesn’t deter the YouTube generation from making it one of the most viral videos of the week.
The video, which was uploaded on August 22, reached the one million mark on Thursday morning.
It features a soloist, who needed to check the lyrics on a clipboard, accompanied by six choristers singing ‘Skyfall’ for a morning talk show in Russia.

The video also received positive comments from all over the world.
Sunny6602: “Respect from UK. Great job, lads!”
Ahmed Hassani: “Awesome! Greetings from Morocco.”
CN Ji Young: “Is he really an army? His voice is better than any American pop artists.”
Ohsnapisam59: “Great! Much from the USA. To any haters, they hit some of the notes better than Adele.”
‘Skyfall’ was released in October 2012 and is written by Adele and Paul Epsworth, who is the Producer as well. It debuted at the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 8. In February, the single won Best Song at the 85th Academy Awards.
