The ‘Simplysiti Dihati' campaign managed to collect RM57,166 from five locations throughout the country.
Proceeds from the sale of cosmetic products owned by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, donated to three children who are heart patients.
Siti is thankful because the campaign’s target is achieved and hopes to help more people who are less fortunate.
Siti said, "In terms of satisfaction, I am thankful that even though the Simplysiti is still new in the market less than five years but together we can help the community other than selling the products, I think there should be goals in whatever we do. Even though I sing I have plans for charitable work."
Siti spent time with two of the three children in the Legoland Theme Park Malaysia, Johor.
'Simplysiti Dihati' is one of the brands in social responsibility projects in collaboration with the Foundation for the National Heart Institute (IJN).
It will cover a part of the cost of the three surgeries which cost about RM80, 000.
Special IJN Foundation projects fund distribution officer, "The help we need is in fact a lot, and there are many ways to help besides money and we've got college students who do not have a huge fund to help but they help by doing charitable work in IJN".
This is the second collaboration of Simplisity with IJN Foundation.
