Schubert died at the Prince Court Medical Centre at 7.16pm Monday after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
THOSE in the entertainment industry expressed their shock over the death of actress and producer Samantha Schubert who passed away last night.

Renown producer Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina was among the personalities who shared kind words on the late actress and former beauty queen.
“Samantha was one of the members of the Kit Kat Klub show, and could dance to Paula Abdul's Straight Up like nobody else could. I will miss the friendship we shared since we were young, free and single.
“May your strength live on in the beautiful children you raised,” she said on her Facebook account.
Actor and producer Afdlin Shauki also penned kind words about Schubert, saying that she was kind-hearted and would always help her friends in need.
“Good bye, friend,” said Afdlin.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Adibah Noor, Sharifah Amani, music producer Aubrey Suwito and activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir also mourned the death of Schubert.

Schubert was crowned Miss Malaysia/World 1991 and became a household name after she acted in several films including ‘Red Scorpion 2’ (1994), ‘Amok’ (1997) and ‘The Red Kebaya’ (2006).
She was 47.
