GWEN Stefani's animated series based on her entourage the Harajuku Girls is set to make its US premiere on Nickelodeon next month.
After debuting in Australia last year, "Kuu Kuu Harajuku" will hit US airwaves Oct. 3, reports Rolling Stone.
The 26-episode series follows the adventures of the band HJ5 -- Love, Angle, Music, Baby and G -- as they navigate the world of music and fashion.
The girl group served as Stefani's backup dancers during her 2004 promoting the album "Love. Music. Angel. Baby."
The first few episodes of "Kuu Kuu Harajuku" will air the week of Oct. 3 through to the 7th, before switching to its regular slot on Saturdays at 8.30am.
