New York Daily News reports that the actor, who is currently in theaters in "The Expendables 3," could reprise his role as the famous vampire hunter.
Despite the critical and commercial flop of "Blade Trinity," the last movie in the franchise to date, and despite weak box office earnings for the third "Expendables" movie, in which the actor joined Sylvester Stallone's team of musclemen, New Line Cinema is still willing to bet on Wesley Snipes.
Released from prison in April 2013 after serving two and a half years for tax evasion, the actor is "looking good," according to the New York Daily News's sources, and is set to make $3 million plus a share of profits as the star of "Blade 4."
Created in 1998, the "Blade" franchise centers on a "dhampir," or a human with vampire genes, who devotes his life to fighting the blood-sucking creatures.
