Yuna, the Malaysian sweetheart who is making waves in the United States, recently shared a message on world peace and unity in one of her latest Instagram post.
The status was accompanied by an image that the Los-Angeles based singer-songwriter took with Suzanne Barakat during one of her concert tour.
Suzanne is the sister to Deah Shaddy Barakat, a Muslim student who died after being shot in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in February.
Her husband Yusor Mohammad and his sister Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha were also the two victims of the tragedy which saw the death of three Muslims.
"Need to share this now I think its the best time to do it in the wake of some people trying to promote war, which to me is disgusting," she wrote.
According to Yuna, whose full name is Yunalis Zarai, the photo was taken merely days after the fatal shooting in Paris.
"Not a day goes by during my tour in the United States without me praying for everybody's safety."
"Alhamdulillah, I only felt love and positive energy in the venues I was performing at," said Yuna.
In a gesture of solidarity, the singer-songwriter also urged fans to value peace and fight against violence.
