Zayn Malik premieres sultry 'It's You' single on Tonight Show

Zayn Malik surprised fans by premiering his newest single "It's You" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Wednesday.

Malik dropped hints on Twitter before his performance -- his first as a solo artist on late night TV -- tweeting "May have a surprise for you on the show tonight."

The slow and sultry "It's You" track is a follow-up to the single "Pillowtalk" which catapulted to the No. 1 spot in the US, UK and Australia last month.

Fallon also revealed the cover art for the album "Mind of Mine," which features a school photo of a young, bowl-cut Malik with inked arms.

"Mind of Mine" releases March 25, a year after Malik quit One Direction.
