A 68-year-old man died while watching horror movie "The Conjuring 2" at a cinema in Tiruvannamalai , Tamil Nadu, India.
G Ram Mohan, from Andhra Pradesh had suffered chest pain and fainted during the climax of the movie, NDTV reported.
The incident happened late Thursday at the Balasubramaniar Cinemas, the report said.
Ram Mohan was in town on a business trip with a friend, H Prasad who took him to a nearby hospital but he died on the way.
Despite the doctors advise to take his body to Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for autopsy, Prasad is believed to have left for their hometown along with the body, the report said.
Police are investigating the matter and have contacted their counterparts in Andhra to trace the body.
