Amy Schumer says 'No' to selfie with fans?
Amy Schumer will still take photos with her fans if they ask nicely.
FOLLOWING an unpleasant encounter with a fan, it may now be harder to snap a 'selfie' with comedian Amy Schumer.
On her Instagram over the weekend, Schumer posted a photo of a man who took a photo of her while out in the streets of Greenville, South Carolina.
The man snapped some photos despite Schumer's repeated request to stop.
"I asked him to stop and he said 'No it's America and we paid you'.
"Yes legally you are allowed to take a picture of me but I was asking you to stop and saying no. I will not take picture with people anymore and it's because of this dude," Schumer said in her post.
This guy in front of his family just ran up next to me scared the shit out of me. Put a camera in my face. I asked him to stop and he said " no it's America and we paid for you" this was in front of his daughter. I was saying stop and no. Great message to your kid. Yes legally you are allowed to take a picture of me. But I was asking you to stop and saying no. I will not take picture with people anymore and it's because of this dude in Greenville.

In a separate post, Schumer said she would still take photos with her fans if they asked nicely.
"I'll still take pictures with nice people when I choose to (and) if it's a good time for that.
"But I don't owe you anything," she said.
Have a good weekend!

Schumer received mixed reactions from her fans.
"Very annoying that this man ruined it for everybody. Some people can be so disrespectful," said @adbrks on Instagram.
However, another Instagram user said having "excited fans" snapping photos is part and parcel of being a public figure.
"I am sorry but 'loss of privacy' while in public places is the price that's paid for the fame and fortune of 'stardom'.
"While out in public, you cannot expect to have a private life, yet reap the rewards of living a famous, well-known life," wrote @tinacartee.
