Astro customers to enjoy more than 150 channels for free

As a token of appreciation to its loyal customers and viewers, more than 150 channels would be made available for free to all Astro subscribers for 10 days beginning Aug 22 to 31.

The free preview includes informative, entertainment and sports channels apart from channels in high definition (HD).

Customers will also be given free access to Astro On-The-Go where they will be able to watch content on their mobile devices anytime, anywhere.

Catch the best collection of local and global entertainment programmes – from Hollywood to Bollywood and various indie films on Sundance and A-List apart from documentaries in HD.

Also available are the hottest TV drama series broadcast at the same time as in the UK and United States.

Added to the list are Korean dramas, reality programmes such as Maharaja Lawak and the live telecast of the biggest sporting events from around the world.

The free preview was in appreciation for voting Astro as the top entertainment and media brand for six consecutive years at the Putra Brand Awards 2015.

At the function held on Friday, ERA fm and hitz fm under Astro Radio also bagged the Gold and Silver awards respectively in the same category.

ERA fm is the number one radio channel in Malaysia with as much as 4.8 million listeners every week, while hitz fm is the top radio network in Malaysia registering as much as 1.2 million listeners every week.

Putra Brand Awards is the premier brand awards in Malaysia organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia in association with the Malaysia's Most Valuable Brands.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of the awards are determined by votes cast by 6,000 Malaysian consumers.
