Candice Glover crowned as new American Idol winner

Candice Glover was crowned as the 12th winner of popular reality series, American Idol.

After three attempts in joining the show, the 22-year-old lass defeated her opponent, Kree Harrison.

With her winning, means that the African American singer back on top winning the show after Jordin Sparks during the Season Six.

During the final, Glover sings “Inseparable” featuring former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson and after her name was announced as winner, she then sing a track “I Am Beautiful” which will be her first single.

The show also will be the last show for Randy Jackson as he will be leaving the show after being the jury since the first season.

Other juries are Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicky Minaj.
