Composer Kassim Masdor dies

A video that sent in by renowned film producer Raja Azmi below shows us what might just be the final interview with composer, Kassim Masdor.

The interview held on the January 2 at his house in Pandan Indah, was conducted before Kassim was admitted to a hospital in Singapore.

According to Raja Azmi, Kassim was supposed to attend the last night of the three night performance “Gelombang Salamiah Hassan” on the 12th of January but was nowhere to be seen.

The interview was aired during the concert.

The late Kassim Masdor was the composer of Gelombang sang by Salamiah Hassan.

He passed away at the age of 76 in Singapore General Hospital on the 21st of January from asthma.
