Discarding hijab: I am not perfect - Siti Nurhaliza's sister
Siti Saerah said is prepared to receive any criticisms regarding her new image.
Singer Siti Saerah who is also the younger sister to songstress Datuk Siti Nurhaliza admitted that she no longer dons the headscarf.
Siti Saerah, 34, said this happened after divorcing her former husband, Saiful Anuar Ahmad Shafie about two years ago.
“I am not perfect, I have a lot of imperfections. Though I wore a hijab before this, it does not mean I have changed completely.
“Furthermore, I do not want to lie with myself. It is better for me to just be straight forward.
“Everybody wants to fully wear the hijab. Pray for me,” she told Astro Gempak when met at the KLXtravaganza press conference at Wangsa Maju on Thursday.
From her previous marriage, she has three children: Ummi Umairah, 6 years old; Ahmad Daiyan, 5; and Ahmad Aisy, 3.
Siti Saerah said is prepared to receive any criticisms regarding her new image.
“I chose this path so I am ready to receive any criticisms and comments from the public. I do not blame anybody. I am still searching for the best for me,” she said.
Siti Saerah said she will be launching a brand new single called “Hanya Restu”.
