While the British period drama "Downton Abbey" may have come to an end, there's already talk that the series could come back to life on the big screen.
The final episode of the wildly popular series aired Sunday in the US, wrapping up the story lines of different members of the Crawley household after six seasons.
But executive producer Gareth Neame hinted that while the TV show is finished, he has high hopes for a cinematic version, telling The Wrap he thinks it would make a "wonderful and logical extension."
"I'm more optimistic than not that we'll be able to make this work in the next couple of years," he said in the interview.
The only hitch for a film adaptation? Coordinating schedules of cast members who are now free agents, and famous.
