Dwayne Johnson to produce 'Teddy Bear'

Former WWE champion The Rock is looking into the production of -- and will potentially star in -- a movie following the adventures of a protective teddy bear, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project developed with New Line is still at the embryonic stage and the story is still to be developed. Dwayne Johnson was inspired by a drawing by Alex Panagopoulos showing a teddy bear defending a young sleeping girl from a monster.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Teddy Bear" isn't set to become a comedy movie like Seth MacFarlane's "Ted," the latest movie starring a teddy bear.
