Ella, Faizal Tahir to rock the MMA cage at ONE fight night KL

Malaysian rock queen, Ella and singer Faizal Tahir will be rocking the MMA cage this September, as ONE Championship collaborates with Universal Music Group (UMG) for a night of live sporting action and music.

The event, ‘ONE: Unbreakable Warriors’ scheduled to be held at Stadium Negara on September 2, will also feature other artistes like Nik Qistina and Natasha Sass.

UMG Malaysia and Singapore Managing Director, Kenny Ong, described the event as historical as it combines the concept of a live MMA sport event with the energy and adrenaline of a rock concert.

“Kuala Lumpur will witness an atmosphere like no other and we are ecstatic for everyone to be part of all the excitement of fight night,” he said in a statement Wednesday.

ONE Championship, Asia’s largest MMA promotion will return to Kuala Lumpur next month, headlined by hometown hero Ev Ting as he takes on Australian fighter Rob Lisita.

Ting, 26, is one of the country’s most promising young talents. Lives and trains out of Auckland, New Zealand, his exceptional 11-3 record has come against solid opposition.

His opponent, Lisita, is known as a relentless offensive force, armed with powerful striking combinations intended to score highlight-reel finishes.

Besides that, fight fans will also expect to see local MMA favourites like Peter Davis, Ann Osman, Agilan Thani, Gianni Subba and Keanu Subba in action.

Plus, an all-Malaysian bout between World Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia-Pacific light heavyweight champion Hisyam Samsudin and current MIMMA featherweight champion Muhammad Aiman.
