Gegar Vaganza reunion concert at Istana Budaya

Astro Ria channel manager Raqim Ahmad said the two hours and 30 minutes concert would feature 13 singers each night and they were slated to perform more than 20 songs.

"The three-day concert will also be accompanied by 63 professional musicians of the Malaysian Traditional Orchestra, led by music conductor Mohd Yazid Zakaria.

"This concert is also held as a sign of appreciation to all fans who have shown their tirelessly support towards the Gegar Vaganza until it features as the highest-rated show in Astro history," he told a press conference Thursday.

Among the singers who will perform are Siti Nordiana, Farahdhiya, Ezad Lazim, Nassier Wahab, Haleeda and Achong.

Istana Budaya director general Datuk Mohamed Juhari Shaarani said they decided to invite the Gegar Vaganza production to hold the concert at their prestigious stage as it showcases the grandeur of singers who once made their mark on the local entertainment scene.
