Get ready for Rick Astley!

Eighties singing sensation Rick Astley is set to ignite the stage at the Twin Towers @Live 2014 come 29th March 2014.

The English singer-songwriter, well known for his hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ is among the four artistes - Christina Aguilera, K-Pop sensation Rain and R&B singer, Craig David slated to perform at the concert.

Twin Towers @Live 2014 to be held on 28th and 29th March 2014 at Plaza PETRONAS in KLCC is a free concert and open to all members of the public.

Sharing the stage with these international stars are local talents Joe Flizzow, Altimet, SonaOne, Ila Damia, DJ Biggie, Oh Chentaku and Irama.

Astley took the pop disco music scene by storm following the release of his debut single “Never Gonna Give You Up’ in 1987.

Within 2 weeks of its release, the single reached Number 1 in the UK and went on to hit Number 1 in 16 other countries.

His second single “Whenever You Need Somebody” also reached Number 1 in 7 countries, and his debut album of the same name went on to sell over 15.2 million copies worldwide, making him the top selling British act of the year.

Today, he still holds the record of being the only male solo artist to have his first 8 singles reach the Top Ten in the UK.

Twin Towers @Live has been held yearly since 2011 in conjunction with the Formula 1 races in Sepang International Circuit.

Last year, more than 50,000 attended the concert that featured Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, 2NE1 and K-Pop star U-kiss.
