Gillian Anderson ("The X-Files") is set to star in a new show on NBC in 2013/2014. The nameless project will revolve around the kidnapping of her character's daughter.

Rachael Taylor ("Transformers," "Grey's Anatomy") will play Anderson's character's sister, Susie Dunn, an FBI agent facing a major crisis on her first day on the job: the President's son has been kidnapped, along with other classmates, including Susie's niece.

After years of silence, she will be forced to face her long-estranged sister Meg (Gillian Anderson).

The thriller, set in Washington DC, will be directed by Rand Ravich, who created "Life" starring Damian Lewis.

Gillian Anderson will also star in "Hannibal," airing on NBC from April 4.
