Hugh Jackman in a Harlan Coben adaptation

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is going to use Harlan Coben's novel "Six Years," which was released on March 19, as inspiration for a new movie. Hugh Jackman will play the hero, a man who has to cope when he loses the love of his life.
The Australian star of "Les Misérables" will play Jack Fisher, a man who watches on helplessly as Natalie marries another man.
He spends the next six years trying to forget her by swinging himself into his career as a professor. When he hears that her husband has died, he can't resist going to the funeral in the hopes of seeing her. But when he gets there, he discovers that Natalie isn't the widow.
For now, the thriller doesn't yet have a director or screenwriter. Only Tom Rothman, the former head of Fox studios, and Mark Gordon ("Saving Private Ryan," "Grey's Anatomy") are attached to the project as producers.
After "Les Misérables", Hugh Jackman will star in "The Wolverine" in cinemas in July before starring in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" next summer.
