The 65-year-old died at a hospital in Bintaro, South Jakarta, CNN Indonesia reported.
The news of his death was announced by his record company, JK Records on Twitter.
The songwriter had recorded hit songs with popular Indonesian artists including Nike Ardilla and Mayangsari.
The Surabaya-born rocker was born on Nov 28, 1950.
