Jamal glad with goverment funding concert
Jamal Abdillah is grateful because the Tourism and Culture Ministry, at the last minute funded the production cost of his latest concert. ‘Konsert Extravaganza Jamal Abdillah’ will take place at the Istana Budaya starting tonight, will reminisce the legacy of late Tan Sri P. Ramlee. The concert is producede by Jamal's own company, Bintang Channel Sdn. Ltd. However, Jamal declined to disclose the total cost of the concert and the funding received. In a concert of remembering four decades since the passing of late P. Ramlee, more than 30 songs will be performed, which includes ‘Di manakan ku cari ganti’, ‘Jeritan Batinku’ and ‘Getaran Jiwa’. Besides Jamal, this concert will also feature guest singers Azlina Aziz, Nas Adila, Musly Ramly and P. Ramlee's grandson, Najua Nasir.
Starting from this Wednesday until 2 June, tickets will be sold at a low price of RM55.
