HE is famous for being an international pop star, but Justin Bieber can now add ‘multiple Guinness World Record holder' to his list of achievements.
The Canadian singer broke eight world records for the 2017 edition of the Guinness World Records, thanks to the success of his fourth album "Purpose."
The records include ‘Most streamed track on Spotify in one week' for his single "What Do You Mean?" and 'Most streamed album on Spotify in one week'. He also claimed titles for ‘Most simultaneous tracks on the US singles chart', ‘Most simultaneous new entries in the Hot 100 by a solo artist' and ‘First act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on UK singles chart'.
Bieber proved that he is also a social media force to be reckoned with, breaking records for ‘Most followers on twitter (male)', ‘Most viewed music channel on YouTube (individual)' and ‘Most subscribers on YouTube for a musician (male)'.
