Justin Timberlake joins cast of 'Trolls'

DreamWorks has recruited actor and musician Justin Timberlake for its animated feature based on Troll dolls.

Anna Kendrick of "Into the Woods" and the "Pitch Perfect" series was already on board as Princess Poppy, and Timberlake will be joining her in "Trolls" as an outdoorsman with a secret, Branch.

The film has been dated for November 4, 2016, with a script provided by the writing pair behind "Kung Fu Panda" and its sequel as well as the upcoming March 2016 animation from Paramount, "Monster Trucks."
