Lisa Surihani is pregnant with her first child

Actress Lisa Surihani is pregnant with her first child together with her husband, Yusry Abdul Halim.

Lisa, however refused to comment further on the matter as it was still in the early stage.

Her husband, Yusry said that they refused to publicise the news as her pregnancy was still in the early stages.

Yusry said, too many speculations were rife about Lisa’s pregnancy and this announcement was made to answer those questions.

“Yes, Lisa is pregnant. That is all that can be said now as Lisa’s pregnancy is still in the early stage. Speculations stating that we are quiet as we are bound by a contract with a television station is not true,” said Yusry

Lisa also added, “My pregnancy is still in the first trimester. It is easier to confirm this news first, however according to the older generations it is still early to publicise the news. Wait until this pregnancy is stabile and I will then make an official statement,” said Lisa.

The exciting news was confirmed by Yusry during the launch of the newest movie trailer ‘Cicakman 3’ at the Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
