Country star Miranda Lambert is sporting a milk moustache.
She's the latest celebrity to take part in the "Got Milk?" campaign and its new Breakfast Project.
"I've seen the milk moustache campaign forever, you see it everywhere and it's kind of cool to join something that's very natural," she said. "The breakfast project is just about how you can incorporate milk, whether it's having milk in your coffee, having a bowl of cereal, having it in a smoothie or just having a glass of milk if you're on the run with a granola bar or whatever."
The ad showcases Lambert with a glass of milk and a bowl of cereal while strumming her guitar. The copy reads "Fine tune your morning. got milk? Nourish every day." She shot the video for the campaign at a farmhouse in New Jersey.
"I've always had milk in my house growing up. My mom always cooked a lot and now as an adult and being married, it's always a staple in my house. I cook a lot. Whether it's just a glass of milk or cooking with it, it just seems like it's always in the fridge," she said.
When Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton are not touring, they share together time in the kitchen.
"I love to have a big, we call it 'big country breakfast,' at holiday time or like Saturdays, well our Mondays being entertainers, get up and have eggs and bacon, cook biscuits. My husband actually makes great homemade biscuits, which he uses milk for, kind of perfect. We just feel like, it's kind of a tradition I grew up with. My dad would always make a huge breakfast on the weekends," she said.
