Neelofa chosen as Lancome's first Southeast Asia regional ambassador

Popular Malaysian celebrity, Neelofa is now Southeast Asia’s first Regional Ambassador for French cosmetics giant, Lancome, after three years of representing the brand in Malaysia and also being it’s first hijab-wearing ambassador.

“I am truly humbled and honoured to be named as the first Southeast Asia Regional Ambassador for a brand that has become family to me.

“I am a believer that happiness is a journey and not a destination, and what an amazing journey it has been with Lancome,” she said in a video recording today.

She also looks forward to connecting to women from Southeast Asia in promoting the benefit of the products and also finding the strength that unites them all.

Celebrities and fans flooded her comments section on her social media feed, congratulating her success after she posted the video at noon today which has been viewed more than 140,000 times.

Television host, actor and singer Alif Satar (@alifsatar) wrote “Congrats babe! Go Lofa!!!” as a host of other celebrities followed suit including Siti Saleha (@sallywho), Daphne Iking (@daphneiking), Daiyan Trisha (@daiyantrisha), Fara Fauzana (@therealfafau) and Dynas Mokhtar (@dynasmokhtar).
