'Ophilia' puts the spotlight on skinhead group, netizens upload photos of boots

Netizens are uploading photos of boots, in particular from the brand Dr Martens, in support of new film "Ophilia" which opened in cinemas yesterday.

The film, directed by Raja Mukhriz Raja Ahmad Kamaruddin, puts the spotlight on the skinhead lifestyle, known for their shaved head and boots image.

Popular director Ahmad Idham was one of the first to tweet about Dr Martens boots after watching the film:

Generally, the skinhead group has always been frowned upon by society for their rough personality and carefree lifestyle.

However, the film touches on the importance of brotherhood within the group, which was the core theme that director Raja Mukhriz wanted to explore in his film.

Ophilia stars Que Haidar, Pekin Ibrahim, Kodi Rasheed, Zizan Nin, Michael Ang, Sharifah Shahora and many others.
