Photos of Harith Iskander's son appear on porn site

Popular comedian Harith Iskander expressed his utmost disgust upon realising today that a photo of his three-year-old son appeared on a pornographic website.

The 49-yaer-old said he was aware of the incident Wednesday morning when he received a Google Alert notification via email.

"Through the email notification, there is a link to an article titled 'Latest photo of Harith Iskander's baby'.

"I couldn't view it on my smartphone due to the restriction from my data, so I got on to my laptop to view the website.

"Apparently, it was a porn website because it has words such as 'porn' and 'sex'. The website is also in Bahasa Malaysia.

"There was a picture of me holding my son and next to it were photos of nude women," he told Astro AWANI when contacted.

He also realised that apart from him and his son's photos, there were also photos of the children of local singers Erra Fazira and Tomok.

"I don't know why the culprit is doing this. Is it to use my name to increase pageviews, or if there is an element of paedophilia?"

Harith said he only scanned the website briefly as he was disgusted by it.

"My wife (Dr Jezamine Lim Iskander) was equally disgusted by the site," he said.

Harith, however, admitted to being told not to upload photos of his children on social media, but he said it has become part of modern life.

"Everybody is uploading their photos. They want to share their happy moments.

"Do I feel scared? Not really because if this site is taken down, someone out there might do something similar. There are just some sickos out there," he said.

Harith would be lodging reports at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station in Petaling Jaya at 10am and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on Thursday.

"I want that porn site to be taken down immediately," he stressed.

Earlier today, the comedian posted up the matter on his Facebook page. The photos showed Harith's son, Zander Xayne Iskander wearing a Liverpool jersey when he was a baby, and another picture of Harith holding on to Zander.

Harith and Dr Jezamine has another child, one-year-old Alessandrea Jayne Iskander.
