After shining the stage for 'A view from the bridge', Scarlett Johansson is back.

The talented actress paired up with Benjamin Walker for the play ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’.

Johansson has received a Tony Award for ‘A View from the Bridge’ and the recognition has attracted her to return to theater.

“My last experience was incredibly touching and so inviting that I had to come back again," Johansson said.

Writen by Tennessee Williams, Johansson surprised the other cast members by memorising the script on her first day.

Johansson holds the character Margaret, better known as 'Maggie the cat', while Walker as her husband, Brick.

‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ was first staged in New York in 1955 with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman involved in the play.

It is currently being staged at the Richard Rodgers Theater in New York.
